起源于美国的STEAM教育，是科学（Science）、技术（Technology）、工程（Engineering）、艺术（Art）和数学（Math）每个单词首个字母组合的简称。它打破了传统学科之间的领域，以一种跨学科式的、综合的、实践的、体验的方式呈现出的一种教育理念和学习方法。
STEAM education originated in the United States， is the abbreviation for the first letter combination of each word of science, technology, engineering, art and math. It breaks the field between traditional disciplines and presents an educational concept and learning method in an interdisciplinary, comprehensive, practical and experiential way.
秉承“自主探索、激发无限潜能”的办园理念，闵行万科幼儿园自开园以来就引进美国STEAM课程作为特色课程，旨在培养孩子的观察、动手、分析、比较、判断、合作交流的能力，培养孩子综合解决问题的能力及创新型思维。

On November 27, VKMH welcomed the annual steam parent-child carnival. Through the parent-child Carnival activities, the value and connotation of steam courses are fully demonstrated. This hands-on learning experience can effectively stimulate children's curios/安卓ity and enthusiasm for active exploration.
